Job Summary | The Yamasaki laboratory is seeking a highly motivated, creative and collaborative individual to work on translational projects related to Parkinson’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions at the University of Kentucky Neurology Department. Our research focuses on elucidating biomarkers for synucleinopathies and we utilize a variety of techniques including flow cytometry, TEM, protein aggregation assays (RT-QuIC) and metabolomic analysis. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and appropriate experience. Preference will be given to individuals with a strong background in molecular biological techniques and experience in areas listed above. |
