Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in the health sciences (PharmD, MD, Ph.D.) and have significant research experience. Postdoctoral research training and/or fellowship training is preferred. Candidates will be expected to develop and sustain an independent, extramurally funded research program as well as teach in the College of Pharmacy PharmD and PhD programs. A demonstrated ability and commitment to teaching excellence at the professional level and a history of innovative, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research are preferred. If engaged in clinical practice in Illinois, candidate must present evidence of a license as a registered pharmacist in the state of Illinois by employment start date. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience based on the norms and criteria of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
