This postdoctoral fellow will work independently on grant funded research in the Klase lab related to substance use and HIV-1 disease. Specifically, this research will oversee analyses of the effect of HIV-1 infection and opiate use on the epigenetic architecture of CNS cells. The postdoctoral fellow will also aid in grant writing, preparation of manuscripts and training of students.

- PhD, Molecular biology/immunology/virology or equivalent
Applicant must have working knowledge and experience in mammalian tissue culture. Strong background in experimental design and data analysis is also expected. Ability to successfully execute basic molecular biology wet lab work is required. Experience with either high resolution microscopy or flow cytometry is preferred.
