The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA is seeking an Assistant Research Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research on ferroelectric polymers and composites. The final applicant must have a PhD in engineering or physical sciences backgrounds by the date of hire. A minimum of five years of related experimental experience, beyond Ph.D. training, is required. Experience in ferroelectric materials and physics is preferred. This is a non-tenure line faculty position, funded for one year from the date of hire with excellent possibility of refunding. Start of position will be on our after July 1, 2021.
