Full job description

Post Doctoral Scholar position in the Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences. The post doctoral scholar will be responsible for conducting research in attosecond AMO physics; assisting with preparation of materials for publication, presentations, and funding applications; mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.

 

Minimum Education Required – Ph.D. in physics or related area

 

Required Qualifications - Ph.D. in physics or related area and a background in AMO physics

 

Desired Qualifications – Experience with ultrashort pulsed lasers, nonlinear pulse compression, and gas-phase attosecond pulse generation
