Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science

Job Duties:

Research to improve the performance, safety, and integrity of nuclear fuel elements. MD simulation will be used on this study to further our understanding of UMoA1 fuels. This effort will focus on studying the radiation-associated diffusion mechanism and fuel cladding mechanical interactions in UMoA1 dispersion fuels.

PhD in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related field.
