Postdoctoral research associate in Visual-Motor Neuroscience
A postdoctoral associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. J. Patrick Mayo in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are interested in the interaction of eye movements and visual perception, as well as their underlying neural circuitry. The lab combines cutting-edge recording technologies, real-time eye tracking, and traditional genetic and biochemical approaches. Several exciting projects that involve large scale mapping of cortical and subcortical circuitry are available.
Successful candidates should have a recent PhD in neuroscience, computational neuroscience, or related fields. Expertise in systems neuroscience, animal models, and science communication is preferred.
