Med-Microbiology and Molecular Genetics - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (21000946)
 

There is an opening in the Lakdawala Lab for a Postdoctoral Assoicate with a PhD in biological science, enviromental engineering or equivalent displine. The Postdoctoral Assoicate will be working on a cross-discipline project with engineers and molecular viroligists on stability of influenza viruses.  This position requires the ability to function well in collaborative enviroments, be hightly creative and have strong motivation.  Presentation of written findings for a scienntific audience on a regular basis is expected.  Sucessful candidates must have the ability to do molecular biology research in BSL2, have a proven ability to collaborate with diffferent disciplines, excellent organizational skills, good communication skills both oral and written, and the ability to learn about multidisciplinary subject areas.
