The Department of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate. You will perform services within the Division of Surgical Oncology under the direction of Dr. M. Haroon Choudry identifying and developing novel therapies against mucinous cancers, including molecular and mucolytic therapies. You will generate, analyze and interpret data, prepare abstracts for presentation at scientific meetings, prepare manuscripts for publication, and perform any other assignments that the principal investigator may request.
Applicants are required to have an MD or a PhD degree in immunology, molecular biology, or a related field, obtained within the past five years. The successful applicant is expected to be a team player, but also to work independently, and to have strong oral and written communication skills. The salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s research experience and skills.
