Position Summary

The primary purpose of this Postdoctoral Research Associate position is to perform research using adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapy for the treatment of genetic diseases, including blindness. The candidate will also be required to submit grants, write manuscripts and present their data coherently internally.

Educational Requirements

PhD in Physiology & Cell/Molecular Therapy.

Qualifications and Experience

Independent execution of advanced molecular techniques in a fast-paced team environment is desired. The ability to communicate ideas effectively, request help when needed, and mentor students is necessary. Additionally, the applicant should be able to execute experimental protocols without constant supervision.
