Position Summary
The Center for Theoretical Biological Physics is actively recruiting recent quantitative science (physics, mathematics, chemistry, etc.) Ph.D. graduates for postdoctoral positions beginning May 15, 2021 or later. We are looking to fill at least one position with postdoctoral candidates well-versed in quantitative science, but also very interested in learning and tackling research problems in the realm of biology and medicine.
Candidate must have Ph.D. or equivalent degree or completed all requirements before beginning position.

Any quantitative science, such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, bioengineering, systems biology, etc.

- Strong research background and publication of peer-reviewed papers in academic journals
- Experience teaching and mentoring undergraduates and grad students in conducting collaborative research
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as oral presentation skills
- Organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of modern research methods, data collection and analyses
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of the subject discipline (dept to clarify specifics)
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work independently and professionally with minimal supervision and direction

Physical Demands
Requires working at a computer for extended periods of time (up to eight hours per day).

- Documents, analyzes, and maintains research data
