A postdoctoral fellow position is open and available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Harshita Kumari in the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Winkle College of Pharmacy - University of Cincinnati. The selected post-doctoral fellow will be responsible for doing research in the area of colloidal chemistry and for training graduate students on analytical and experimental methods. A one-year appointment (2020-2021) will be offered initially and will be continued for up to a total of 2 years upon satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. Minimum Qualifications : PhD in chemistry, cosmetic science, material science, physics, or related field
Additional Qualifications Considered : Additional postdoc experience in neutron scattering is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the area of surfactants, colloidal chemistry, formulation science, small-angle neutron scattering, gels, supramolecular chemistry and related areas. Candidate should have hands-on experience in teniometry, rheology, XRD, SAXS, NMR, MS, DSC, TGA, PGAA, etc.
