postdoctoral research position is available in Dr. Wang’s lab within the Department of Genetics, Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Qualified candidates should have a PhD in cancer cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, and genetics. Individuals with experience in the analysis of flow cytometry and RNA sequencing data, animal models, or targeted immunotherapy are especially encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will explore regulatory mechanisms of tumor microenvironment in cancer, especially prostate cancer. The candidate must be able to work in a group/team environment while also being able to work independently. Strong communication skills are need for writing and presentation of research in a multi-disciplinary research environment.
