Postdoctoral Researcher - Pscyhology Department, Dietrich College-2015595
: Dr. Marlene Behrmann’s lab in the Psychology Department at Carnegie Mellon is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher. This position is a fixed term position beginning with an anticipated start date of January 1 2021 to May 31, 2021. The Postdoctoral Researcher will use machine learning techniques on EEG data already obtained from individuals who undergo neurosurgery for intractable epilepsy, and to predict the post-surgical outcome. This research can only be done by an individual with good knowledge of epilepsy and strong computational skills.
You must demonstrate:
• Strong knowledge of epilepsy and strong computational skills
• Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Problem-Solving and Reasoning Skills
• Organization and Planning Skills
• Analytical Skills
• Phd in cognitive neuroscience with EEG
• Machine learning experience is highly desired
