Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in biological NMR spectroscopy; proficiency in preparation of isotropically enriched protein samples; extensive experience in maintaining NMR instrumentation
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in liquid-state NMR spectroscopy of biological macromolecules
80%: Research activities pertaining to research project(s): NMR spectroscopy, NMR data analysis, and preparation of protein samples.
10%: Preparation of weekly research reports and manuscript drafts; assisting the PI with grant proposal preparation.
5%: Implementation of new NMR pulse sequences and experiments; providing guidance to graduate students on the usage of NMR instruments. Participation the management of NMR facility: cryogenic fills and spectrometer calibrations.
5%: Other Duties Performs other duties as assigned.
