The Department of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering at the USF College of Engineering Tampa campus cordially invites candidates with a Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering or research related to synthetic fuel production to apply for a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar position. This position will perform research and development on process for converting biogas to liquid fuels. This is a full-time (temporary) position that may be renewed annually depending on satisfactory performance and funding availability up to a maximum of five years. Health insurance benefits will be offered through the USF postdoctoral scholar health insurance program.

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering. The candidate should have research interests/expertise in one or more of the following: (a) renewable energy, (b) heterogeneous catalysis, (c) gas-to-liquid and biomass-to-liquid technologies, (d) process simulations and techno-economic analyses. Other areas outside the above three are not of interest.
