Candidate should ideally have experience of (1) design, cloning, and analysis of viral DNA vector for CAR-T and CRISPR-Cas9 delivery, (ii) evaluating the vector expression in cells or animal model, (iii) immunophenotyping analysis in flow cytometry, (iv) RT-PCR, immune precipitation and western blot analysis, (v) hands on experience of transfection and transduction techniques and (vi) using nanotechnology for enhancing cancer immunotherapy. Typically, we accept postdocs who have shown exceptional promise in their PhD training, reflected by publications and a passion for science.
2) A postdoctoral research associate position is immediately available for polymer/organic synthesis and antibody-drug conjugates development in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Wayne State University. Applicants should have a PhD in polymer/Organic Chemistry or Drug Delivery with significant prior research experience preferably at post-doctoral level as evidenced by high quality first author scientific publications, and strong interest in drug delivery and nanomedicine. Qualified candidates should have strong research experience with polymer synthesis, in-vitro drug/gene/polymer characterization. Candidates with tumor Animal model development and molecular imaging experience will be giving priority. Applicants should be highly self-motivated and have a track record of integrity, creativity and productivity.
