Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher position for National Science Foundation PFI-TT (Partnership for Innovation – Technology Transfer) funded project led by Professor Didem Ozevin.

Duties:

The researcher will work on 1) the design of next generation MEMS acoustic sensor following the prior design of Professor Ozevin’s research group, 2) collaborating with the industry partner for proper packaging, 3) testing the sensor in a realistic environment. The researcher will also participate to NSF I-Corps training (https://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/i-corps/) together with Professor Ozevin and the industrial partner.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate for Postdoctoral Researcher position must hold a doctoral degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with previous experience and publications on MEMS sensors, MEMS packaging, L-Edit software and COMSOL software or a related area. Strong publication record is expected. Also, good knowledge of spoken and written English is required.
