The Department of Mathematics at Schreiner University invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track visiting faculty position beginning Fall 2020. The ideal candidate will have training and research interests that cross multiple domains within the field of mathematics. Typical duties for the position include teaching 12 hours per semester, service to the university through committee work, and advising students both in pursuit of their degrees and in future career options. The typical teaching load is at least 1 upper division class per semester plus lower level courses which can include the Calculus sequence, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Finite Math, and/or College Algebra.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Mathematics. Doctorate preferred. Teaching experience a plus.
