Description

The biofluids group at Tulane University invites applications for a postdoctoral position funded, in part, by a grant from the National Science Foundation. The postdoctoral fellow will work with an interdisciplinary team of mathematicians and biologists to develop computational modeling approaches for investigating intriguing systems of microorganism fluid dynamics in complex environments.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have recently received a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. The appointment is for one year and, subject to successful performance and funding, renewable for up to two more years. The postdoc will have the opportunity to teach in the Department of Mathematics at Tulane, and will participate in other mentoring and professional development activities.
