Position Description 

Advertised Job Summary 

The Center for Environmental Nanoscience and Risk, in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences located within the Arnold School of Public Health seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a one-year appointment, with the possibility for renewal pending satisfactory performance. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will perform research in the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticle and labelled nanoplastics. 


A PhD in a quantitative subject, especially in chemistry, physics or engineering, with a strong focus in particle synthesis and characterization of their physico-chemistry (electron and force microscopy and metal analysis are especially useful). Knowledge of environmental or biological applications for particles is useful but not essential.
