K171303 - Postdoctoral Position – Neural Engineering, Parkinson’s disease
Mentor: Harrison Walker, M.D., Associate Professor, Department of Neurology, UAB School of Medicine, firstname.lastname@example.org
Postdoctoral position in neural signal analysis and machine learning to better treat dystonia associated with Parkinson’s disease
One postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Neurology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The research includes an analysis and interpretation of non-invasively and invasively recorded neurophysiological signals for improvement and better understanding of deep brain stimulation therapy for dystonia in Parkinson’s disease. The multidisciplinary research team is led by Dr. Harrison Walker, Medical Director for Surgical Movement Disorders at UAB.
