CCRM Research has an opportunity for a highly motivated Ph.D graduate with interest and experience in mammalian embryology and development. The research focuses on the biological pathways that contribute to embryonic competence and the impact this has on implantation success, fertility and disease. Our lab utilizes an array of strategies including but not limited to, functional omics approaches, mouse models and in vitro cell culture systems. The project aims to further characterize preimplantation embryonic developmental pathways, the molecular mechanisms that regulate embryonic competence and advancement of translational methods to improve implantation success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced biomedical research techniques. Develop new translational methods. Attention to detail, methodical laboratory practices and data keeping. Interest in acquiring new skills and knowledge. Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities. Analytical thinking and data focused. Strong work ethic and enjoy both independent and teamwork. Importance of scientific manuscript writing. Presenting at national and international meetings
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD degree with a background in reproductive and/or molecular cell biology is required. Small animal handling is preferred. US citizenship or permanent resident

This is a full time, benefitted position working Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
